Session 2:
July 26-30

The Youth Cycling League is a FREE week-long summer day camp
(morning hours) for Junior boys and girls from ages 10-18.

In sessions designed to introduce Juniors to riding at the
velodrome, Campers learn about bicycle safety principles, health
and wellness benefits from active lifestyles, and increased
confidence in personal and teamwork skills.

Most of all, it’s about having TONS of fun riding bikes, including a
post camp race event for all camp participants!

Sessions are a combination of skill-based hands-on and classroom
style instruction from qualified cycling coaches and accomplished
competitive cyclists.

June 24, 7pm – First Thursday Night Pub Crawl Bike Social

Where: Houston Heights

Distance: About 6.7 Miles

Start: Heights Bike Trail off of Taylor St between the Sawyer Lofts and Target – Plenty of well-lit parking in the parking lot if you plan to hitch your bike over there.

Finish: Loop back to the start!

Ride Details: We will start off on the the Heights Bike Trail passing by Blue Line Bike Lab to the Nicholson Bike Trail then head towards Heights Blvd then head over to Shiloh Bar and the usual spot for many at Onion Creek Cafe.  We’ll start off there and see where we may go from there.  It should be a lot of fun.  Not to mention meet some fellow riders in Houston.  Maybe this’ll become a regular thing!

What to Bring: Yourself.  Some friends.  Your Bike.  Some bike lights and a helmet would be nice to keep you safe also.
