So it’s finally here. PedalHouston is up and running. It’s time to connect the Houston community together one biker at a time. Get the word out and share this with your friends. Make the forum your domain for you to romp and play. Meet other cyclists to get a ride going. This is your playground.
The hopes of Pedal Houston is to make Houston get on the map for a place where cyclists thrive and want to explore the city on a bike. Make it a daily commuter thing, a weekend warrior thing, a Sunday stroll type thing. Just get on your bike!
It’s all things local and all things Texas. You’ll be seeing some blog posts from other groups, organizations and people all over sharing their thoughts on their take on riding or what they bring to the bike community. It’ll be an interesting project.

Congrats on the new site! It’s been a long time coming. This site is a great gift to the growing biking community in Houston! Looking forward to see what’s in store for 2010! This really makes me want to purchase a new bike.
